I was born in Chicago. I decided on a career in Activities after my husband, who is an entertainer, and I performed in many assisted living communities and nursing homes.

I loved the interaction with the residents and wanted to be a part of making their lives special on a daily basis. My first opportunity to work in activities with seniors was at a local nursing home. I was recruited by Regal Palms after my husband and I performed at Regal Palms. The opportunity to lead the programming at Pearl Garden, Regal Palms’ Memory Care program, sounded interesting to me so I joined the Regal Palms family.

I believe it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. There is no greater joy than to be working with your heart, and I do so each day with the residents of Pearl Garden.

When not at work, I can be found enjoying NASCAR, football, scrapbooking or my two dogs.
