Our Place – Regal Palms Memory Care

Preserving capabilities while protecting the dignity and individuality of each resident... that's the mission of Our Place, a special program for those with Alzheimer's disease and related memory loss.

Located in a special residential area of Regal Palms Premier Assisted Living, Our Place is designed to maximize independence. Visual cues and prompts familiarize residents with their surroundings.

Our Place’s caring professionals are specially trained in providing a supportive, nourishing environment. They provide state-of-the-art programming which reinforces capabilities, enhances independence and recognizes individual needs. Activities address varying interests, needs and attention spans. And our staff members are in tune with residents as they follow their cues and schedules.

Amenities

• A large selection of floor plans, some with full kitchens
• Levered door handles
• Fire/smoke detectors and sprinkler system throughout the building
• All utilities including electricity, cable television, water, sewer and trash collection (telephone may be purchased separately)
• Maintenance of common areas and grounds
• General maintenance of apartments and appliances
• Window coverings and wall-to-wall carpeting
• Individually controlled heating and air conditioning
• Use of all common areas
• A kitchenette in every apartment
• Private bathroom with walk-in shower and grab bars

• Three daily meals served in a private home-like dining room where residents are encouraged to dine independently
• Personal laundry services
• Tailored personal care and health-related services, as needed
• 24-hour emergency call system and staffing
• Staff members trained in addressing the needs of those with memory loss
• State-of-the-art programming that reinforces capabilities and enhances independence
